Delivery & Changes Policy
This is Cybernaut Studio's delivery and changes policy, which takes the place of a shipping and exchange policy.
Last updated 23 October 2026
About this policy
Cybernaut Studio delivers digital services. There's nothing to box up or courier. This page explains how delivery and changes work for both a custom software project and a small-business website, in place of a traditional shipping or exchange policy.
Delivery of a custom software project
Custom work is delivered in the visible stages set out in the project proposal. As described on how we work, this generally follows: build and review at agreed milestones, testing across important workflows, roles and devices, then a launch stage covering production hosting, data migration, access, backups and handover.
"Delivery" of a milestone means the working functionality has been demonstrated and made available for your review, along with any relevant documentation. Final handover of a completed project includes agreed access credentials, source-code arrangements and documentation as set out in the proposal.
Changes to a custom software project
Custom projects often surface exceptions or new opportunities during delivery. A request that changes the agreed scope is documented, and we agree together whether it should replace another priority, move into a later phase, or be quoted as additional work. See our Terms & Conditions for how this is handled commercially.
Delivery of a small-business website
Once you've paid the setup fee and sent us your content (logo, business details, photos, and text), we build your site and share a preview link with you. Once you're happy with it, we point your domain at it and it goes live.
A typical build is live within days. The main variable is how quickly we get the content we need from you, and how much back-and-forth the review stage takes.
What you receive: a live website at your own domain, registered in your name; working business email addresses, plus any add-on mailboxes; a working contact form; and basic on-page SEO and AIO, and Google Business Profile setup, where included. You don't need to install or download anything, everything is hosted and managed for you as part of the monthly fee.
Changes to a small-business website
Because each site is custom-built for your business, there's no "exchange" in the retail sense. Instead:
- Small changes (text edits, a new photo, updated hours) are handled as part of your ongoing relationship with us, talk to us about what's included for your specific package.
- Add-on swaps, adding or dropping things like booking/calendar, analytics or extra mailboxes, can be requested any time and are billed or removed from your next invoice.
- Additional pages beyond your package's starting scope are scoped and quoted individually, since needs vary a lot between businesses. There is no fixed per-page rate.
For refunds on the setup fee or monthly billing, see our Refund Policy.
Delays
The most common reason a build or milestone takes longer than expected is waiting on content, feedback, or decisions from the client. If we're waiting on you for more than a couple of weeks, we'll check in, and you're always welcome to check in with us too.
